Logan hadn't left his room the rest of the day, he had been sitting on the windowsill for some time now and finally had decided to get to bed. He might as well try and get some rest while he was here. He removed his shirt and his shoes. As well as his socks before he sat down on the bed. Laying back he figured things had turned our weird.
For a long time he had figured he had been the only one, and now here he had met someone else with powers. His eyes closed and he slowly started to drift off, at first his dreams carried him to Canada, his home land... or so he figured. He wasn't sure... At first things where peaceful in his dream until it took a turn.
He couldn't move, his eyes stung from some fluid which he didn't know. He slowly had submerged into something... he didn't know what. But he couldn't breath anymore. His body felt like it was on fire, as he felt his skin being punctured numerous of times. He tried to scream to make them stop. His anger was boiling up. The moment he shot up out of the tank...
Logan sat on his bed, straight up, sweat on his face and his eyes widened. He moved one hand up to wipe the sweat of his forehead and hadn't realised a growl had sounded while he moved up.

Trying to work on what homework she had brought back with her was pointless, she couldn't concentrate not after the conversation she had with Professor X about Logan. The man had been through hell and back and Jean had felt slightly ill and faint as she listened to Xavier tell her about the man she had befriended and tried to help. She tossed the advanced calculus book away from her and closed her notebook with a small shake of her head. No point in trying to crunch numbers if she couldn't think straight enough to get the right answers the first time around.
Jean moved to her door and stepped out it intent on going down to the kitchen to get something to eat when she heard it, a growl from Logan's room that was only a few down from her own. The halls were silent enough that she had heard it clearly enough and curiosity got the better of her. She headed for the door and paused with her hand on the door handle, a moment later she knocked gently on the door and opened it a crack.
"Logan, is everything alright?"

As the door opened Logan looked to the side to see where the voice came from. He slowly nodded and moved his legs over the edge of the bed.
"Yeah I am fine."
He replied and got up walking to the window he had left open. He looked outside for a moment and then back at Jean. He never had been very good with telling about his emotions and showing fear was something he refused to do.
he turned around and looked back at Jean he had no clue what time it was, but it seemed he hadn't been asleep that long. Something he had gotten used to over time.

Jean hesitated for a moment before she stepped into the room and closed the door behind her. She leaned against it not wanting to invade the man's space and their eyes locked when he looked back to her. He may have refused to show fear but she could sense it even if it was only a little and that bothered her. It wasn't unexpected given what he had gone through but looking at the man one would think that nothing could scare him.
"I heard a noise when I came out of my room and I just wanted to make sure you were alright. New place and all I can imagine its a bit strange and rather intimidating. I know when I first came here I didn't want to leave my room."
She was being polite in not mentioning that she knew something was bothering him but she didn't open the door to leave either, something about him drew her like a moth to a flame. The man was dangerous, and a mystery as the professor had told her only what he knew and that there was more to the man she stood in front of.

Logan looked at her for a moment and then shook his head while he went in search for his shirt. He knew it had to be somewhere around the room... he had left it here. When he found it he pulled it on.
"Nothing intimidating about it.. I just... It was just a dream.."
He knew it had been, and he also knew it once had happened to him. It was what made his knuckles itch in a fight, and why nothing could break his bones. He knew this. And he also knew anyone he grew close to somehow got involved... he found it all difficult. But he couldn't let Jean get to close... for her own good.
"Guess everyone has them now and then."
He stated and shrugged.

Jean found her eyes following him when he moved to grab his shirt and a moment later she was glancing away giving him a nod when he spoke about people having dreams. Dreams were powerful things and nightmares could be even worse. The mind had its own way of making the rest of the body react to what it saw while at rest and it wasn't always a pleasant experience.
"Yeah, everyone dreams, and everyone fears what they cannot control in it....." She replied softly as she met his eyes once more.

Logan slowly nodded and looked back at the window for a moment and then back at Jean while he walked back to the bed. His fears where often forgotten when he was awake, but in his sleep they would haunt him until he would wake up like he had done now.
"This morning you looked at me differently... even while you brought me here... what changed?"
He suddenly asked and looked at her. He didn't know she had been talking to Xavier, he didn't know the man. But something had changed in the eyes of Jean... like she felt sorry for him.

Jean blinked when he asked what had changed, she should have figured he would be perceptive enough to notice the change in her from this morning and now. She ran a hand over the back of her neck and glanced away with a small shrug.
"I was told what happened to you." She replied quietly her gaze going back to him. "It explains a lot actually."
She fell silent trying to decide if leaving was now the best course of action, she didn't want to intrude on the man or make him even more uncomfortable then he already was. She couldn't help being drawn to him however. he was dangerous and she knew that but she figured that was onereason why she was so drawn to him.

She had been told what had happened to him... no one knew beside the government who had given green to proceed with his creation, and the lab who had created him. But most of those people where dead... who could have told her what had happened to him. He next words made him tilt his head a bit to the side.
"Explains what?"
He asked. A lot could be anything. But he wanted to know what she meant by it. Logan didn't want pity. Not from her not from anyone. He was driven by revenge. Something which hadn't subsided since he started his search two years ago.

She had really stepped in it now, damn her and trying to be honest and nice at the same time. She shrugged one shoulder and crossed her arms over her chest. What could she tell him that wouldn't cause him to be angry or simply shut down. The silence stretched between them for a moment before she finally spoke.
"Your personality, the aloofness, the almost cold shoulder you give everyone. It explains the look in your eyes, the look of a hunter searching for its prey."

"Someone doesn't have to have my past to be that way."
Logan replied with a shrug and leaned his elbows on his knees. He knew the way he acted, and he wasn't sure why but he also knew he was older than he looked. He knew he would live while others around him would die, and he wanted to save himself the pain of losing people he loved. By keeping distance.
"Who told you?"
He asked now, perhaps if it had been one of those agents it would make sense.
