Look Description 5’3” and 100lbs (when fully solid) Kitty has a petite, slim build and a fine physical build due to training and combat experience with the X-Men. She doesn’t really care about flaunting her body around and prefers to wear loose-fitting clothing. Though this doesn’t mean she has bad fashion taste. She in fact, has a strong sense of fashion and enjoys wearing vibrant and complimentary hues when in casual attire.

Personality:

Kitty is much more intelligent then most would give her credit for. Her intellect is close to genius level which had allowed her to take college–level courses at a young age. She admits to being a bit of a geek, though her thirst for knowledge had always driven her to learn as much as possible.

Kitty loves a good joke and is generally a cheerful person. She tends to make witty comments and can be quite sarcastic. She can be stubborn and quite opinionated when she wants to be and doesn’t back down when she feels that she’s in a bad situation.Kitty is able to think for herself rather then following orders all the time (though this does tend to get her into trouble at times). To her friends, she’s loyal and would do just about anything to defend them if need be.

Kitty is often considered as a ‘kid sister’ to many of the older members of the X-Men.

What I can Do and Can't

Powers: Kitty has the ability to “phase” through solid matter by shifting her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving. Kitty can phase her clothing along with herself, and through practice has learned to phase other objects and people without harm to them. For all intents and purposes, Kitty is intangible whilst phasing, however she is still vulnerable to psionic or mystical attacks though she has shown inconsistent resistance to telepathy. Certain forms of energy can also disrupt her phased state. The density of some materials (such as adamantium) can prove deleterious to her phasing, causing her to be severely disoriented or experience pain if she tries to pass through them

When Kitty phases through an object with an electrical system, the process disrupts the system's workings. This includes the electrical impulses found in the human brain. Kitty can phase part or all of her body through another living being without harm to herself, though the other being can be rendered unconscious as a result. Kitty also has the potential to kill another being by phasing them into a solid object and then releasing them, causing them to solidify whilst still within the object.

Kitty passes through objects at the same rate of speed at which she is moving before phasing. Since she is unable to breathe while phasing, she can only continuously phase through solid objects - as when she travels underground - as long as she can hold her breath. Kitty can keep her phased form at rest in relation to the rotation of the Earth upon its axis, thus allowing her to assume a ground speed of the length of a football field and a half every second. Kitty can also walk on air whilst phasing.

Kitty can also extend her powers to phase other people and objects.

Abilities: Kitty is also a genius in the computer sciences, and is highly skilled in the design and use of computer hardware. She is a competent driver of automobiles, a skilled pilot of piston and jet engine aircraft, and a competent pilot of certain advanced interstellar vehicles. Kitty also undertook ballet and modern dance training (and is now a professional level dancer), speaks fluent Japanese, Russian, and has moderate expertise in Gaelic, Hebrew, and German.
Weaknesses: Kitty is unable to breathe while phasing and can only continuously phase through objects for as long as she can hold her breath. She has discovered that phasing through dense materials is more difficult and some, in particular, adamantium, can cause her great pain (even to the point of unconsciousness).

Even in her intangible state, she is vulnerable to mystical attacks and some form of energies have shown to disrupt her ability (though lightning and lasers have been shown to be harmless to her in her phased state) In her normal state she is still mortal and thus is vulnerable to attacks.

What Happened to Me

Katherine Anne Pryde was born in Deerfield, Illinois to Carmen and Theresa Pryde. She is of Jewish descent. At a young age it was discovered she had genius level intellect that allowed her to take college-level courses at 13 and a half. Before then her life had been fairly normal until she started suffering from headaches – a result of her mutant powers beginning to manifest. Kitty was approached by both Charles Xavier of the X-Men and Emma Frost of the Hellfire Club to recruit her to their respective causes.

Kitty got along with Xavier and his X-Men and became fast friends with Ororo Munroe after she told Kitty about who she really was and about the X-Men, which made her more enthusiastic about attending Xavier’s school. They were rudely interrupted when mercenaries sent by Emma Frost attacked the X-Men, but in the end the X-Men defeated their attackers, but ended up captured when the White Queen used her telepathic powers on them. In the midst of the fight, Kitty had been separated from the X-Men and managed to contact Cyclops, Jean Grey and Nightcrawler who arrived soon after and helped rescue the captured X-Men.

In the aftermath of the incident, Kitty returned to her very worried parents because of she had been missing for a day. Kitty’s parents did not want their daughter to go to Xavier’s school after the incident, but with some help from Jean, who used her telepathic power to convince Kitty’s parents, they allowed her to enroll into Xavier’s school and she became the youngest member of the X-Men.

Kitty winced as he cried out, she should’ve realised that the effect would’ve been drastically increased given his electric ability. Honestly, she hadn’t wanted to hurt him that much. Just keep him at bay, otherwise he would’ve gotton away with the stolen parts and who knows what they would be used for?

She had realised that he could’ve easily electrocuted her when he hadn’t known her power and was surprised he didn’t. Only attempted to wrap her up. She had expected that as a member of the Brotherhood he would’ve attacked her and most likely hurt her when she had gotton in his way. But he didn’t.

Kitty gazed down at his unconscious body with conflicted emotions. There were two options she could choose now. She could tie him up and find an older X-Man to help her out. Or she could take back the backpack and let him go, and hopefully none of the others would ever hear about it.
